b. abrupt (change)
Creemos que los cambios bruscos de temperatura que experimentamos últimamente se deben al cambio climático.We believe that the abrupt changes in temperature that we've been experiencing recently are due to climate change.
c. sharp (bend)
Aquí la carretera hace una curva brusca a la izquierda.Here the road takes a sharp bend to the left.
d. steep (slope, drop, decline)
Esa bajada es muy brusca como para bajar en patines.That slope is too steep to go down wearing skates.
