Umm... so my school has a problem that says:
Fill in the correct imperfect progressive verb according to the table.

El sábado a las ocho de la noche, Eva ___|__ el diario del abuelo.

in a table of information, it says "leer el diario del abuelo." so what do I put in the blank? What is the imperfect progressive form of "leer"? I tried "
"El sábado a las ocho de la noche, Eva leía el diario del abuelo." but that's not right.

That's correct, Anthony, however, there is little difference between leía and estaba leyendo. The meaning I mean.
