refill
What is the Spanish word for refill? As in "Do you need any refills on your medicine'" The dictionary lists recargar, repuesto, and recambio but I don't know which one is the best fit for how I want to use the word. I've searched the forum but I don't see where this has been addressed before. Thanks.

como no Gus! Cuando vas a la farmacia y pides un relleno por lo general te dan un relleno de repollo con la receta, y entonces les puedes decir que esto es para dellenarte (dellenar) porque estas demasiado lleno.

Rellenar is the closest word that I could find to translate refill. Dellenar is another substitue, but nobody will know what you mean if you use that word.
Por favor lléneme esta receta. could be another posibility.

What I mean is that it does not have to be only 15 pillls or waht have you the doc. can prescribe the quantity needed so that a refill is not needed.

The definition for the word relleno,according to my Pequeño Larousse
Ilustrado,1983 edition is as follows:
relleno< Muy lleno (full-completely full)Picadillo sazonado con que se rellenan tripas,aves,hortalizas,etc relleno de un pollo,accion de rellenar. parte superflua de algo.
rellenar according to the same dict. means volver a llenar ,llenar,henchir,llenar de carne picada,rellenar un pollo,dar de comer.
The word surperflua o superflou means no necesario...not needed.....inutil...usless.
However, if you would like to use the word rellenar as meaning refill you are welcome to do so. Because, here in Maryland US of A we believe in that people are free to express themselves anyway they choose. This is a right protected by the Constitution of the United States.

I think the best way to ask and this would be understood by everybody.
"Necesita más medicina'" do you need more medicine?
Here in Spain we do not talk about refill either. I think the sentence above would be the best.
