if you want to say court as in a royal court, use the feminine: la corte

Gracias, Antonella (la úndecima). Lo sabía, pero es una de las cosas que siempre me cuestan mucho recordar.

la corte, la corte, la corte... (hasta las 50 veces)

La corte de honor

Look at this :

  1. Toda la corte, Quinceañera, Damas, Chambelanes, Padrinos y Padres se comprometen a completar la formación requerida y seguir las instrucciones para esta celebración

if you want to say court as in a royal court, use the feminine:

la corte

If you use it in the masculine, el corte, that can mean anything from a cut on the knee to a style in fashion. In Spain the biggest department store is El Corte Inglés, which means the English Cut, not the English Court

That would be corte, as in el corte real, the royal court.

By the way, the title of this thread should be just "court."
