Jordan, you need to check previous posts about "ser" and "estar", because it can easily be the most frequently asked question in all Spanish forums. Both are easily translated as "to be", but doing the translation in reverse is more challenging. They are different verbs, with different functions, and hardly ever interchangeable. Read some posts, and bring more specific questions, if you have any.

Hi Jordan,

We didn't get what you were trying to ask.
Were you asking for the translation for these words?

Soy, Estoy - I am.
Eres, Estás - You are.
Es, Está - He/she/it is or you(formal) are.
Somos, Estamos - We are.
Sois, Estáis - You(plural) are.
Son, Están - They are.

Is this what you were asking for?

Marco
