Hi hamdi, you are referring to a vocabulary list. yes, it is simply using a shorter form, that is, replacing the noun with a pronoun.

Yes, using the pronoun is just a shorter way of saying the same thing. The listener understands what "it" refers to.

Will you put on my coat for me? (Will you help me (on) with my coat')
Will you put it on for me'
