Just curious. How is this Palestinian name pronounced in Spanish? "Jamás"? "Amás"? Something else'

You might want to "check your local listings" to find out how it's being pronounced. You never know, maybe different people pronounce it differently. Unfortunately, they are a hot topic as of late so I'm sure you'll hear something on the Spanish news.
Yes it is english pronuncication as it is spelled "Hamas".
But that's why I asked. The H is silent in Spanish, and I wanted to know if they went by the spelling (amás) or by the Arabic pronunciation. That is, it seems odd to spell it in English for Spanish speakers, since the word is originally spelled in Arabic, and if they are going to use the Arabic pronunciation, it would seem logical to transcribe the word into phonetic Spanish as Jamás. Then again, maybe the potential confusion with the Spanish word jamás makes the English spelling preferable.
That really made me laugh out loud, but it is also sad. Yes it is english pronuncication as it is spelled "Hamas".
