Dealing with Saber and Conocer, describing family members with traits, and mas/menos...que, tan...como

Mi profesor/a Escribe cuatro preguntas para tu profesor/ a para conseguir información sobre su vida. Usa los verbos "Conocer" y "Saber". Por ejemplo, "Sabes tocar el piano?

Write four questions for your teacher to to get information on his/her life. Use the verbs "Knowing" and "Know." For example, "You know how to play the piano'"

I know Saber and Conocer are not the same. Saber is for facts and specific information where as Conocer is familiarity like for example like knowing if a restaurant is good or bad or knowing what a person is like.

So far I have

Do you know how to play an instrument.
1)¿Sabe cómo tocar un instrumento?

Are you familiar with the restaurant Chiopotle?
2)Conoces el restaurante Chipotle?

Do you know your favorite song?
3) Sabes su cancion prerferida?

Are you familiar with San Diego, California?
4)Conoces San Diego, California?

After that comes the family

Mi familia encanta ir de compras. Mi madre compra más ropa que mi hermana. Mi hermana gasta más dinero que my madre. Mi padre sale comprar menos frecuencia que mi familia. Mi hermano es tan alto como yo. Compartimos la ropa. Mi hermano y Yo no gastar tanto dinero como mi familia.

I agree that you must decide between "tú" or "usted" plus the following:
Sentence # 1- saber = to know or to know how; therefore, cómo is not used- ¿Sabe tocar...?

3- Tener does not take the personal a after it, so the sentence must be written as Tengo muchos miembros en mi familia. or (Hay muchos miembros en mi familia.).

cuatro preguntas para tu profesor/ : so are you formal with your teacher? use 3rd person, otherwise 2nd. The second sentence is correct per se, but it is not if you are formal.

2)Conoces el restaurante Chipotle? (correct)

mas...que", = more than ( or eg. más grande que..)
"menos...que"= less than (menos grandge que) Structure is the same in Spanish.
"tan...como" = equality (tan grande como)

The rule on homework is that you give us your best attempt and then we correct it, if necessary. Just general comments, however. In 1) and 2) Use the same person throughout the examples. You are switching from formal to informal (3rd to 2nd person singular). in 2) you forgot the ¿
párrafo sobre los miembros de tu familia - I have (a) many members of my family. Sound correct to you? Corto does not mean short in the context of stature. First, it would be corta, but secondly look up baja.
