Anyone know of anywhere I can find spanish songs translated by a real person to english'?
It doesn't even matter what song, or type of music. As long as it's a spanish language song. It helps tremendously if I can see an english translation of the words. I know there are a lot of websites that can 'translate' a page for you, but has anyone ever tried to use one of those? Exactly! They suck! Anyway, any page, any song that has been translated by a person really would help. I'll even buy the song online if i don't already have it. Thanks so much for any help! Anyone trying to learn another language understands...Thanks!

A bit over two years ago I posted the lyrics (and an intentionally "literal") translation of the song "Volver" (an Argentinian tango) that was also featured in a movie by the same name. SpanishLover also posted what he called the "real" translation (our opinions differ)
A bit over three years ago I posted a link to 3 1/2 LP's worth of Spanish & Mexican folk songs and one LP of pop ("easy listening") Spanish songs. I provided the lyrics (but not the translations) for the folk songs.
Despite your disclaimer about any kind of songs, these may well not be to your taste; but I like them and think they are better suited to people wanting to learn the language than what is popular with young people.
If you have specific questions about the translations of the folk songs, I will try to answer them but I have no intention of attempting to translate that many songs in their entirety into English.
My specialty is true translations that follow the musical instruments, the story, and poetic. In other words, it can be used on a Karaoke video>

hola, i have only come across a few songs in spanish myself. these have english lyrics too so u can understand what is being sung. Christina Aguillera is a great one to look up as she is spanish. I looked her up on 'youtube'. all i did was type in 'spanish songs with english lyrics'. i also got 'titanic' in spanish with english lyrics too!!!!!!!! also try 'Jennifer Lopez'. as she is aso spanish. i hope that this is of some help to u hun!!!!
