Well , if it's subject to interpretation, then, the girlfriend always has you, you never have her. Fact of life, not grammar.

Why did you translate "estoy un poco celosa de tu novia que tiene ti" to "I am a little jealous of your girlfriend that you have"? Shouldn't that be "I am a little jealous of your girlfriend who has you" since the writer wrote "que tiene ti"'

As written, the Spanish is ungrammatical, so I had to make a guess as to the intended meaning. My version would be "estoy un poco celosa de tu novia que tienes." Your version would be "estoy un poco celosa de tu novia que te tiene (a ti)."

But either way, the basic meaning is pretty clear, so I didn't elaborate.

Hi James, I have a question here.
Why did you translate "estoy un poco celosa de tu novia que tiene ti" to "I am a little jealous of your girlfriend that you have"? Shouldn't that be "I am a little jealous of your girlfriend who has you" since the writer wrote "que tiene ti"?

Thank you,

Marco

Please use shorter thread titles.

Agreed. Enough words to tell what the discussion is about, but you don't need to put the whole message there! Anyway, thanks for fixing it.
