A little tidbit-Here in New Mexico there is a town called Ojo Caliente after the hot springs that are present there.

"Hot spring" is "fuente termal", and "inglés" is not written in capitals... and accent. From your English version, you probable want to say "Tuve unas vacaciones maravillosas, y tenía una fuente termal y una playa excelentes", although it'd sound better if you said "ya que" (since) instead of "y"."You shocked me" could be "Me asustaste", "Me diste un susto", "Me dejaste de piedra",... and many others; I need a context.
