Saul, just make sure that Heidita is correct, because tamponada is a perfectly legitimate Spanish word, as Mogor told you.

I don´t know if you seek this...
the word tamponada is used in chemical terminology
tamponar= to buff
solución tamponada= buffed solution
tampón= buffer

I think there is s slight spelling error: taponada

It means blocked or stopped.

Can you give us the whole sentence'
