I really need some help in learning Spanish
Hola,
I took Spanish for three years in High School almost 20 years ago and I remember very little. I have a heart for international studies and I really need help in learning Spanish all over again.
Can someone please help me. I don't know where to start. I am not even sure of how this site works. Can someone please help out this newbie with Spanish and also with this site.

I had replied to a posting made in August 2008 using information in May 2009. The time periods are not compatible and my comment did not make any sense.
Hola Asana, I'm new to this site as well.It's been almost 20 years since I've been in high school also,so were about the same age,but I never took Spanish I took French. So this my 1st real session. What has worked for me so far on this site is just using the translation section to convert everyday sentences into spanish and then testing it out on some of my Latin friends. So far it has worked wonderfully and they're impressed with my all of the sudden vocabulary.
So that would be my advice is to use translations,learn verbs, use the flashcards, and the spanish dictionary, and you should be fine.
