It matters only if the numbers end in zeros.
Like trecientas casas, trecientos pesos, quinientas bolsas, quinientos uniformes, etc., etc.
that site is really helpful, thanx
Wow, I never knew this! I'm glad this question was asked.
Here is a very good explanation of the number rules in Spanish:

Of course, you are right.
I am sorrry, I didn't get it the answer, I was thinking in the noun after the number not in the number itself.
Esto solo pasa con los numeros (200, 300,...hasta 900)
200 doscientos carros, doscientas casas
500 quinientos ninos, quinientas muchachas.
900 novecientos conejos, novecientas gatas.
I hope this help you.

thank you, but i read that 200 bottles is docientas botellas and not docientos botellas
Hello there.
It doesn't matter if the noun after the number is in feminine or masculine, like for example:
2056 bottles:
Dos mil cincuenta y seis botellas ( casas, ninas, camisas, neveras,... o ... motos, carros, muchachos, maestros... )
5692 : Cinco mil seiscientos noventa y dos ( veces, reses, trenes, casas, mapas, latas, osos, trompos, conos, colores, canciones, artistas, triunfos, dolares, bolivares, euros, libras, yenes... ). really it does not matter.
I hope this help you.
