How does one pronounce various proper nouns in Mexican Spanish? For example, "Tenochtitlan" or "Quetzalcoatl?"

That is not Mexican Spanish, those are Aztec names written with roman characters! Click on the following links to hear the correct pronunciation.

The best way is to go live among the mayan and aztec people for many years.Wearing their clothing, and eating their food. After acquiring an ear for their native tongue and customs, the pronunciation will flow from you like the waterfalls of copper canyon. However if the preceding is too difficult. With great dificulty. These are mayan and Aztec names and, for me atleast, are very dificult to say.
