Not in the dictionary. What is "alelo" in the following line of a poem?

What does the word "alelo" mean in this line of a poem written by a friend?

Let me add a few more lines of the poem to see if that helps:

• de las mismas cosas reímos
• cuando reír puedo
• contemplas con tristeza mis lágrimas
• y conmigo no lloras
• ...para que yo sepa
• que en ti
• tengo un alelo incondicional

I think 'alelo' is being used as a noun form of the verb 'alelar'; so in this case it could mean something like bewilderment, overwhelmedness, or similar. I'm not sure what he/she is trying to communicate, however, but maybe you can figure it out from context.

It sounds like the poem alludes to some unconditional hereditary trait that they both share.
