Subjuntivo de Imperfecto tenso.

He iniciado leer "La Conspiracion" ( the Deception Point ) by Dan Brown en espanol y veo que se usa el subjuntivo imperfecto mucho en libros de novelas. Quiero saber las reglas de imperfecto subjuntivo por que no puedo comprender las reglas despues de buscando las conjugaciones de muchos verbos .
