First, washing ones own hands is reflexive so you would use lavarse. If you were washing the car (or say your child's hands) then you would use lavar.

Josefina takes the 3rd person, singular (present tense, indicative mood) of lavarse using the appropriate 3rd person reflexive pronoun. Care to try it now?
