How do you translate: "Thank you for sharing your work with me." or "Thank you for taking the time to share information on your company."?

I don't believe "compartir" translates the same.

I was talking to a Chilean who said that "compartir" doesn't translate correctly. Is that not the case? Is there any other verb that could work?
