llamo when is this word used as either masculino or feminia
Is it correct to say me llamo es------- when the person is a female
1 Answer
Yes! Except you would not include the "es".
"me llamo" = I call myself (literally)
This is the first person singular of the reflexive verb "llamarse" = to be called
And, it doesn't matter if the person calling themselves is male or female.
Typically, you would follow the "me llamo" with your name.
As in: Me llamo Roberto or Me llamo Heidita.
Yes. Me llamo [your name]. from the verb Llamar.
We don't conjugate verbs for gender.
