Blockquote

Blockquote

I came here because I thought I could give to those without then I met you and learned I was the one in need

Blockquote

Blockquote

I am not brave like a firefighter I am not beautiful like Johnny Depp But I will love you more than any man has every loved a woman

Blockquote

Blockquote

The first time you touched me there was an earthquake in the theatre The volcano had to erupt because of the heat of our first kiss

Blockquote

Blockquote

When people ask me if I love you I will always answer 'pocita' but you and I both know what that word really means

Blockquote

Blockquote

How did it happen that this little devil in white turned out to be an angel that captured my heart.

Blockquote

Blockquote

I may be a gringo estupido For putting my heart into words But I will always be trankis putting my heart into your hands

Blockquote

Diabla, Gringo Estupido, trankis are all required words that need to be kept in there. I'm not even sure trankis is a real word, but we use it anyway (tranquilo).

if anyone is curious, I am a doctor serving in La Chureca. I came here to help people, but ended up falling in love.

The woman(and her friends) have this strange fascination with NYC firefighters and johnny depp... to the point of being obnoxious on facebook smile

And no kidding.. our first kiss was at the top of a volcano, which a few days later had a minor eruption. The first time we were 'close' was in a movie theater (heh, watching Johnny Depp in Alice)... and there was a minor earthquake during the movie.

We were taking a long drive and she asked me if I was hungry. I said " pocita"(little).. and a few minutes later, I devoured half of a buffet. It has always been a little joke that my opinion of what is pocita might be a little off.

And finally. My first day in Nicaragua, I was buying something at a corner store. I didn't have a grasp of the currency conversion, so stumbled for a bit before being able to pay for my drink. The person behind the counter assumed I spoke no spanish, so called me a 'gringo estupido' to one of his friends. I laughed it off ( I've been called far worse). But when I told my girlfriend, she insists she wants to kill the kid. it's been a little joke ever since.

Thanks for double checking my translation of my own bad poem.

Pequeño should be pequeña because the person you're talking about is a woman. By the way, your poem is very good and sweet smile I would be honored if you wrote this for me. I am sure your girlfriend will love it no matter if you have errors in it.
