yo se que el verbo gustar no es como un verbo regular, entonces como diria yo en Ingles, "I like you" or you like me, or he likes her (like a friend or boyfriend/girlfriend) Is ther another verb that would be better to use than gustar??

I like you: me gustas You like me: te gusto he likes her: ella le gusta a él or a él le gusta ella.

There are other ways to say it, but really this is the most common way, and I think it's understood equally everywhere Spanish is spoken.
