What is the meaning of "bolus" as in "bolus preguntas?"

I assume that this is slang. I read it in Buenos Aires. Maybe it is a shortened form of another word?

I am guessing here without context: in English a "bolus" is something that is hard to swallow
That´s probably because a "bolus" is a large pill, hence the difficulty in swallowing.
