Be strong, boy, You are the man of the family now.

(And God's blessing on all military personnel and volunteers who are fighting the war on terror, and their families.)

Wars are the most foolish way of having a conversation between people. Your father knew it and didn't want you to follow him. Be strong, my boy.

I will go back to one of the first things I learned on this website: Estoy triste. Those are about the only words I could say, even if I had a Spanish vocabulary of 200,000 words.

For the moment, this flag will not rid you of the horrible feeling, but later when a certain amount of time has passed, you'll see that it is your friend for it's something of your father's. And although you'll always go on loving your father, the pain will leave with time.
