The ground is too muddy to go horseback riding - El suelo está demasiado embarrado para cabalgar

The ground is too icy to go horseback riding - El suelo está demasiado congelado para cabalgar

Thanks! Is "cabalgar" the verb used in Mexico? - Luzbonita, FEB 16, 2010
Just to let you know, I'm not sure where cabalgar is used but 'montar a caballo' was the vocabulary word in my class so I'm sure that works just fine. - unraveled, FEB 16, 2010
