I looked up 'to spay' here and it said it was 'castrar' being the same as 'to neuter'. At another site, it said it was 'esterilizar', which is literally to sterilize. Which one is generally used for animals?

HI, welcome to the forumgrin

We use esterilizar for a female animal, castrar for a male.
