my aunt likes to knit, and i need a way to say that. also my aunt is fun, as in outgoing, fun to be with

I'm a fourth year Spanish student, so I'm not a native speaker, but this is my guess:
Mi tía es divertido y a ella le gusta hacer punto (or "tejer")

a fun person = una persona divertida
You can probably figure out "she like to knit" -- try looking up "knit" in the dictionary search box at the top of the page.
