What does the "Al ducharte" part mean in this sentence "Al ducharte, usas el champú famoso."

Also, what would "Al despertarte" mean in the following sentence ? "Al despertarte, escucha la radio."

The "Al" and the reflexive infinitive is throwing me off! I haven't learned this before.

Al ducharte = when you shower.

Al despertarte = when you wake up.

The "al" is kind of like "upon the act of ____ "

Al + infinite verb is the same as when /Cuando + verbo conjugado.

Ejemplo: Al despertar, escucha la radio = Cuando despiertes, escucha la radio.

When you wake up, listen to the radio.

When you shower yourself , use the famous shampoo. Upon awakening /when you awake, listen to the radio.

Now I step back for the grammarians.
