"Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong.. Under the shade of a coolabah tree, And he sang and he danced and waited till his billy boiled.. You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me..."

I couldn't resist - I love the word billabong...the verse is from one of our most beloved folk songs "Waltzing Matilda".

I was fortunate enough to visit the "Combo Waterhole" in northern Queensland - the billabong about which the song was written...

Annie.

This translation would mean "The jeans are the brand of Billabong" not that they are of that brand - ReggaeRican, DIC 9, 2009
