How do you say preschool or pre-K in Spanish?

How do you say preschool or pre-K in Spanish? I looked it up and it says different things on different websites. Is preescolar correct?

Well it all depends in what country you are.

The word "preescolar" sound correct, but in my country we use "escuela de parvulos"

I work for a Migrant Head Start program and most of the families are from Mexico. We call our preschool "Escuelita"
