In the cooking instructions on a package of rice, it reads: Para arroces secos utiliar........

They use arroces as the plural for arroz. This rice is grown and sold in Mexico so the cooking instructions are being given to the Mexican reader. Is this correct? What say you?

Gracias.

I would just say arroz. I have yet to hear someone say arroces, and I live in Mexico.

How are the rices? ¿como estan los arrocez?

The rices are well cook. Los arroces estan bien cocidos.

The above does not sound good. Lo escrito arriva no me suena muy bien.

But, who, am I to argue with the dictionary. Pero, quien soy yo, parsa pelear con el diccionario.
