The word "guapa" (which generally means a good-looking girl) is an adjective, not a noun.

Edited to add:

As Ricardo correctly points out, you can say "Son muchachas guapas (They are good-looking girls).

Guapa is an adjective but in earlier "Learn Spanish" lessons it meant handsome and was for a guy. - john20, AGO 30, 2009

Las muchachas se ven muy guapas. The girls look pretty nice. So "guapas" is the plural form for guapa
