| I am a total Hispanophile who, whilst I live & work in central London, go over to Spain whenever I can. I am fortunate enough to have a lovely house overlooking Mahon harbour on the island of Menorca in the Balearics, where I have owned property for nearly twenty years. My only frustration is that the castellano I have learnt over the years is often not adequate when I am dealing with a local whose primary language may be Menorquin - a dialect of Catalan that even Barcelonians struggle with! | |
