| In 2008, I married a man from Cuba. While his English is quite good, many of his friends and acquaintances speak no, or very little English. His 83-year old father speaks no English at all! I am trying to learn Spanish so that I can relieve my husband of the burden of always being the one who has to speak in a language that is not their native language. Additionally, I would like to be able to speak with his friends or, at least, understand most of what they say. | |
