| I took one year of Spanish at a local community college and now I'm studying on my own using various resources. One of the best things I did was go to Mexico for language immersion school with homestay. It was only two weeks, but it really helped my confidence. I also volunteer weekly with a Latina support group for young mothers. That gives me real-life motivation to keep working hard to improve my Spanish. My goal is to become fluent, and I view it as a journey that is both challenging and fun. | |
