| First things first... My name is Johnathan Alexander Townsend, but I go by Alex or Alejandro. I am 22 years old, Mental Health Specialist, deployed currently to FOB (Forward Operating Base) Salerno, Afghanistan and have been here about 13 months as of the 3rd of February 2008. I have a beautiful baby girl named Liliana who is Mexican American by virtue of her mother and I. Although her mother and I are not "together" we remain friends and make things work in that capacity for the benefit of Liliana, who is my drive to be here in the first place. Liliana is 4 years old now and her verbal fluency is ridiculously advanced for her age as she's fully bilingual. And as time progresses she's going to be beyond me verbally in the Spanish realm if I don't do something to progress myself. I want to have the capacity to teach her, not vice versa (as cute as that might be) When I'm not on mission (or something of the sort) I study slightly and listen to music and try to learn the words and make full sense of them (more recently Gloria Estefan: 90 Millas). With that aside, I love to work out, play basketball, football, soccer, run, box, and write. I'm in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. My little girl resides in Columbus, Ohio where I call "home". I hope this is informative enough, I'm not sure of the standards around here =) Be easy and if you find yourself intrigued or have any questions, just holla at me... Dueces ! |
