  • Uno por uno -> one and then another: used to mark the distinction more forcibly
  • Váyase uno por otro -> let one go for the other
  • Una cosa -> a thing undetermined
  • Una y no más -> never, no more
  • Ser para en una -> to be well matched: applied to a married couple
  • Ir a una -> to act of the same accord, or to the same end
  • Cada uno a la suyo -> everyone should mind his own business
  • Uno nunca sabe qué hacer -> one never knows what to do
