The quiniela is the Spanish equivalent of the football pools and coupons are available from estancos. Players can predict a home win (1), a draw (X) or an away win (2) for most premier and first division matches. 15 correct forecasts gets the biggest prize but 10 or more correct forecasts also wins some money. The sums won vary from week to week depending on the takings or recaudación. There is also a version for horse racing known as the quiniela hípica.
