Aunque, ahora recuerdo que el ex siete de España compareció antes de la Eurocopa para disculpar el mal gusto de Luis Aragonés, así que estamos curados de espanto.
Though
Though
I still remember it was at the displeasure of (team manager) Luis Aragonés that the old number 7I had to look into the background of all of these people and it appears that Raúl held the distinction of having the most goals scored for the national team (thanks in part to the fact that his best friend Hierro was on the team to pass him the ball), but that Luis Aragonés (and some fans) felt that there were other players that played his position that were equally deserving of a chance to play for the national team, so he was left of off/retired from (depending on which account you read) of the national team but continues to play for Real Madrid. I am guessing that she feels, too that number 7 is overrated and that other more deserving players had been left off the national team because of him. So she is basically saying that thanks to Aragonés the national team is no longer forced to guarantee a spot for Raúl.
