Today marks the 40th Anniversary of Man walking on the Moon.

How would one say in Spanish "A small step for Man, One giant leap for Mankind"

In Spain they translated it like "Un pequeño paso para el hombre, pero un gran salto para la humanidad", or something pretty close.

Just a note of interest, not that it makes much difference ...

Just an example of something sticking in our minds and becoming accepted, even if it is inaccurate.
