Yo digo azafata.
Pero al pensar en eso, no estoy 100% segura de si se puede usar para varones y para hembras. Solo se que vale para mujer.
Tambien quiero decir que tu foto de Monterrey es bellisima. Yo tambien he mirado en el ojo de ese mismo pez asombroso.

I believe azafata is the equivalent of "stewardess" which is sort of old fashione/sexist...but it is the word that came first to my mind (and lets face it, spanish isn't exactly the least sexist of languages is it'). Crew member is "tripulante", which is supposedly masculine, but could probably be used interchangably, so might be the best bet. Spanishdict.com gives "sobrecargo" when you ask it for Flight Attendant", with the following secondary definition: 2. m. "Tripulante de avión que tiene a su cargo supervisar diversas funciones auxiliares", but it sort of seems to be more related to cargo ships.

The RAE defines "azafata" and "aeromoza", but it says that "aeromoza" is only used in "some American countries", it doesn't specify which ones.

In Spain I've always heard "azafata, and "azafato". "Auxiliar de vuelo" is another option, especially in its plural form ("auxiliares de vuelo")

Aeromozo would not be used in Spain. I gave a word for the masculine form in my first post, Cristie:

auxiliar de vuelo

Sobrecargo is the supervisor of the "auxiliares de vuelo", including men and women, sort of "head of staff". Sobrecargo can be a man or a woman!!

WE do not use azafato either. Actually the masculine form of azafata is not contemplated in the DRAE
