'Tengo fuego en las pestanas?
Hello:
I am curious about the following:
"Tengo fuego en las pestanas"
I know what it means literally translated, but I'm curious if this is an idiomatic expression? It doesn't make much sense to me literally translated. It comes from a song I found on Youtube sung by Rocio Jurado, "Carmen de Espana".
Thanks for your help!
Have a great 4th of July weekend!

Hi
I am a native Spaniard, and so far i never came across this expression. I tend to think that it is just something related to the context of that song, in some way trying to add more poetry to the message (e.g fire in his eyes)
have never heard this expression in this part of mexico

Is it saying something like "I get hot and bothered when I see those hot chicks."
