I've been reading the forum for months...and have learned a lot from others' posts. This is my first post...

I am trying to get better at my Spanish (high school level from decades ago!) I recently went to Guatemala on a mission trip, and have some new friends there that I want to keep in contact with. I have used the translator on this site, but often get multiple and different options.

Here is what I want to write to my friend (in English, with my attempt at Spanish (some my own, much from the translator at this site). Please help with this.

(For some background, I worked with my friend on a project building stoves for local villagers - this is the reason for that reference in my letter.)

I hope you are well. Linda and I are well here.

Is your soccer league still playing? It seemed like a fun group to play with. What else do you when your not working?

I don't know anything about your family. How many siblings do you have? Do they live in San Lucas, too?

My older son, Adam, lives near us in an apartment with a friend of his. My younger son, Ben, is living with us this summer while home from college.

Are you still working on stoves in San Andres? Our friend, Teri, is coming to San Lucas in July with some teens. I was hoping to send a few photos for you, Jayron and Julio from our time their last March. I also have some that I want to get to some of the families in San Andres.

Would you be able to help with this? I know that some of the women were very interested in the photos I was taking. If you can't, I understand, so please don't feel obligated. Tell me if you can.

Mi hijo mayor, Adam, vive cerca de nuestra casa en un apartamento con un amigo suyo. Mi hijo menor, Ben, esta` viviendo con nosotros esta verano minetra que el hogar de la universidad.

Todavía estás trabajando en las estufas en San Andres? Nuestra amiga, Teri, está llegando a San Lucas en julio con algunos muchachos. Tenía la esperanza de enviar algun fotos para ti, Jayron y Julio de nuestro tiempo alli el pasado marzo. Tambien, tengo algunos que se quiero dar para algunas familias en San Andres. Podrías ayudarme con esto? Yo se` que algunas de las mujeres habia` interesado en los fotos que me tome`. Si no puedes, yo comprendo, asi no sientes obligado. Me diga si tu puedes.

My attempt would be something like:
