Question

Tengo que tranducir este frase al español. Mi respuesta es "Podemos mandárselo, si prefiera" sin embargo el libro lo dice tranducir como "Podemos mandárselo, si quiere". ¿No se usa el subjuntivo?

With "si" you use:

1) indicative if the condition is possible or likely
2) imperfect subjunctive if the condition is hypothetical or impossible

"Si" is used to discuss what happens if we assume something to be true; that's why a declaration can be made. Imperfect subjunctive is used for non-declarative mental images.

You can say "... si lo prefiere" or "si quiere".

Feel free to correct me = Corríjanme si quieren

'Se lo podemos enviar si prefiere.? or 'Si desea podemos enviárselo.'

I would say it like this:

'Se lo podemos enviar si prefiere.? or 'Si desea, podemos enviárselo.?

Generally speaking you can't have two conjugated verbs one right after the other.
