How do I get rid of "Add This" box at the top of the screen?
All it does is get in my way and there's no X to click it off -_-
This is very frustrating because it blocks my from clicking on links and it scrolls with the page so it blocks text that I want to read as well.
Any help would be nice.

I know exactly what you mean, I just experienced it myself...it is frustrating and I'm sorry but I have no idea how to get rid of it all I did was hit the "back" button to go back to the previous screen. :-{

It almost sounds like they are discussing a browser function or a menu function from an add-on toolbar, something akin to a Add to Favorites button.

If you click on "Dictionary" it pops up automatically.

thanks Nathaniel. I had never seen this. I wonder is this is normal.
Can anybody see this anywhere else?
I am going to report this issue. Very annoying as several direct links cannot be used due to this window.
Thanks for pointing out the problem, Devon. (I have deleted the rude part of the title. )

It might have been nice if they had said that. It is the Add to List box. It normally displays a drop down menu when you mouseover it. It seems that it is displaying the dropdown list incorrectly now. Oddly enough there is an ad that pops up a video that displays in the same place. I'm wondering if there is some conflict.
Heidita,
You may not see this effect if you are using Firefox. I don't see it with Google Chrome, but I do with IE. That button has never worked correctly anyway. Maybe someone IS trying to fix it.
qfreed, you are right. I am using IE and it is an annoyance but it doesn't show yp in Firefox.
I am using IE and I see it in conjugation, translation and the dictionary.
It's actually a feature and a good way to promote Spanishdict.com. By clicking the appropriate button, the page you are vieiwing is added to one of the many social networking sites, such as Facebook.
It doesn't seem to get in my way at all. For me it's up near the top of the page, though your experience may be (and probably is) different than mine.
Here is a simple workaround, until the problem is fixed:
- In the browser menu, select Tools, Internet Options
- Click on the Security tab
- Selected the Restricted Sites zone
- Click the Sites button
- In the "Add this website to the zone" field, replace the default value with "http://s7.addthis.com"
- Click the Add button, then Close everything
- Refresh the page; the button and the pop up window should disappear
Once you hear the problem has been solved, go back to the Restricted Sites and remove the entry to restore the button.

As I looked at it again this is a duplicate copy of the BookMark box and the Add to List box is simply gone.
And I see it on all 3 of the pages also.
Now I wonder where the Add to List feature went and where it will reappear?
I see neither the duplicate, expanded copy of the Bookmark box nor the Add to List button using Google Chrome.
value with "http://s7.addthis.com"
Just as a matter of curiosity, did that workaround disable your Bookmark button that is listed down below also?
It did mine.
Also the Add to List button does not reappear in IE. (I don't see it in Google Chrome). I do see it in FireFox, but I can't login with Firefox for some reason so I may not be looking at a refreshed page.

Yes, it did. But I don't care about those buttons, I'm not into the social networking or social bookmarking thing.
