the verb is parir.
in the past as requested is 'parió'
ella parió (un bebé)
I've heard dar la luz for to give birth
dio la luz = gave birth
I made a mistake, while looking up parir, I found dar a luz
i hear a lot of women say AAGGHH,AAGGHH,AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH.
