regular keyboard characters on message box, next to smileys

Question

Hello (I don't know how to address you) you knockout! In the message box I am typing right now is nothing but blank place. (What a surprise.) On the outside left is something to click on, Smileys. Well, you could do that with regular keyboard characters. So, why not some Hungarian (Or Spanish) characters you could insert into your message (even though you don't need any one of the to spell Budapest).
Just a thought from an old '56 refuge from Hungary.

HI Zoltán, I had only just seen your other thread and had no idea what that was all about ( I deleted it and changed the title of this thread, if you don't mind)

I think this is a good idea. I will pass this on to Chris, let's see if that is simple to be done. A good idea , but probably not easy, as I have not seen that on any other forum so far.
