Mexico rocks

Question

I was asked on the chat how I would translate this, as in Mexico is cool. I suggested:

México es guay, México mola....

But....would this be understood in México? Or In Ecuador'

La traducción seria: México es suave. Pero los mexicanos decimos: México esta padre; o también diríamos (usando slang) "México esta a toda madre"

A Mexican colleague of mine says he's use "está padre" with things like -for example- a car, but "México está padre" sounds a bit strange to him. He also suggests "México es padre", but "Como México no hay dos" appears to be his best choice.

"Mola" and "guay" are typical Spanish slang terms. Another way to say this (but this sounds a bit harder, and it can be interpreted in more than one way) is "México es la hostia".

I'm not Mexican, but I've heard them say that things are "padrísimo" in that sense. Let´s see what actual Mexicans say. I know that guay is strictly Spanish.

In Argentina when someone really liked something or if it was really spectacular they would say that it was "de diez".

By the way I lived in México for a while (almost 12 years) and I never heard of any of these: "México es guay, México mola'" maybe they are used in a different part of the country than where I been.

I have heard all of Yolii's and Shrek's suggestions used by Mexicans, as well as a todo dar, chevere, and de poca madre (which is interesting in that I think it means much the same thing as "a toda madre"), in the meaning of something "rocks."

But the one that I have heard most often in the context of Mexico is what Yolii said: como México no hay dos.

Living in Ecuador I've never heard "México es guay, México mola'." and I don't know if they would be understood (I shall ask a native at the next available convenience).

Here they would probably say:
México es chevere
México es bakan (This is said more in Colombia and I absolutely don't know the spelling of this word; it could begin with a "V")
México es buenassa (Again, not sure of the spelling)

Chingón means "Awesome". I think you will find bákan means "cool".

I thought it was "guey" with 2 dots over the "e"
