Hi Carrie and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry but what you have written is not correct. I'm not sure what it was that you were trying to do. If you were trying to say the time, it would have been :
son las dos menos veinte
or
es la una y cuarenta
If you are doing this for school, you probablyl need to use the first one. That is the standard way that is generally taught in school.

it's not a sentence... acta in Spanish is not a verb so this does not make sense.
did you mean una hora cuarenta exacta
(exactly one hour and forty minutes)

son las dos en punto
it is 2 exactly
en punto= exactly
word for word "en punot" = on point
