Does the sentence make sense? I am trying to use the direct object and indirect direct object prounouns. Thanks in advance,

Sara le da el dinero a su padre.
El padre de ella se lo da a su esposa.
Cuando el hermano de Sara llega, la esposa se lo da.

Quentin when do you know when to use "su" instead "el/ella" ? Thanks for all your advice grin

el and ella are personal pronouns I, you he, she, it , us, them

su is a possessive adjective...my, your, his her,its, our, their

(note) I used el padre de ella so that there would not be a su (her) padre and a su (his) wife in the same sentence. (to avoid ambiguity)
